testing
History
"Many battles have been fought, many prophecies have been foretold, blood has been spilt in the name of honor. It is time for change!"
After the demise of a well known, respectable Guild called [Nerds In Denial] who's achievements mark the death of the Ruler of the Illidari Naga, Lady Vashj, Lord of the Blood Elves, Kael'thas, Legion Field Commander Achimonde and finally the Betrayer himself, Lord of Outland, Illidan Stormrage. The leader of the Guild felt that the magic and the spark had been burned out and that the end had finally come to this once great community and decided to disband the Guild. This however was not the view of many of those who had persisted though times of toil and anguish, this new uprising then decided to form a force to be reckoned with, a force capable of proving once more that the spirit of [Nerds In Denial] was very much alive.
This newly formed Guild was firstly renamed [Dead Nerds] as to mark the subsequent death of [Nerds In Denial], after long talks with those who wanted to continue it was decided to form a new Guild which, out of respect for the roots of previous raiding, was named [NiD]. Instead of the usually Guild Master structure common in most Guilds it was decided that [NiD] would change this and form a new structure, one capable of dealing with the stress, trials and tribulations that are inherited by that of a management role. It was decided that the Guild would be managed by a group of five elected members, these members in turn created the Council.
This union was enhanced by those who joined the ranks of the Guild, players from around the globe from various countries, ethnical backgrounds and age groups that in turn created a synergy of power. This diverse consolidation resulted in progessing fast within places such as Mount Hyjal and The Black Temple, easily passing off the resistance. It was decided that a challenge was needed, and the target which was in the sights of [NiD] was to clear The Burning Crusade, namely that of Sunwell Plateau, home to some of the most testing and brutal encounters World of Warcraft has ever seen.
This was met by heavy disbelief by many, although the Guild persisted, and after weeks of attempts, [NiD] saw the cleansing of Kalecgos of the Blue Dragonflight by vanquishing Sathrovarr the Corruptor from within the demon realm. This was a joyous time which proved that the Guild was in no way dead, in fact this proved [NiD] was stronger, more resilient, more focused to completing their common goal. This continued with the death of Annihilan Pit Lord Brutallus, the revenge of Madrigosa by destroying the Fel Dragon Felmyst, the fall of the Man'ari Eredar Twins and putting to rest the Broken Naaru, M'uru.
The final battle and subsequently the only barrier that was preventing [NiD] from achieving their ultimate goal was to be the Supreme Commander of the Burning Legion, Kil'jaeden the Deceiver. [NiD] fought long and hard to place and end to this extremely testing encounter and after just one week, Kil'jaeden had been vanquished by the Heroes of [NiD]. The Guild achieved what many said was impossible due to the time frame, yet this proved the critics and peers wrong and that anything is possible in World of Warcraft, especially when you're surrounded by people you can rely on and trust.
This motivated a new target, a new aim for this well focused synergy of friends, this had to be the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, which would see the resurrection of many, including that of Naxxramas. A perfect objective which would once again test the boundaries of [NiD].
There is nothing more to say then, see you in Northrend.
